The Hoyo de Monterrey Rojo line celebrates the brand’s Honduran heritage with a vibrant, modern twist on a classic profile. Crafted at the STG Danlí factory in Honduras, the “Rojo” edition features a striking Honduran Jamastrán-valley wrapper in place of the usual shade leaf, over a Nicaraguan binder and a filler blend drawn from Honduras, Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic.
This Rothschild vitola measures 4 ½ × 50, making it a short but concentrated smoke. Medium bodied, it delivers tasting notes of toasted marshmallow, molasses sweetness, cinnamon spice, and warm earth, with hints of nut and subtle retro-hale pepper.
