Wholesale Cigar Shipping & Tax Information
Cigars Island reviews wholesale shipments by destination, buyer eligibility and product. Approval of a wholesale account does not guarantee that every product can ship to every address.
Shipping eligibility
Provide the business name, delivery address and applicable tobacco license with your application. Our team can confirm available shipping methods and any restrictions before you place an order. Transit and dispatch times depend on the destination, carrier, inventory and order processing; no same-day dispatch or delivery window is guaranteed.
Taxes and resale documents
Sales and use tax, tobacco excise tax and import tax are different obligations. Treatment depends on the origin, destination, product and buyer documentation. Provide current resale and tobacco permits when requested. We will apply a documented exemption only where eligible; applicable charges may be assessed at checkout or handled separately as required. A buyer's obligation to report or pay a tax does not eliminate any collection or reporting duty imposed on Cigars Island.
Puerto Rico orders and imports
Local Puerto Rico sales and goods imported into Puerto Rico can follow different IVU processes. If your business imports the shipment, confirm the importer of record and applicable declaration and excise requirements with our team before ordering. A resale certificate alone does not establish exemption from every tax.
