Charter Oak Pasquale by Foundation Cigar Company is a deeply personal, full-bodied cigar created by Nicholas Melillo as part of the Charter Oak Pegnataro Series, honoring his grandfathers who inspired his passion for tobacco and craftsmanship. The Pasquale represents strength, richness, and tradition—embodying Melillo’s Nicaraguan blending expertise with refined complexity and power.
Handcrafted at Tabacalera A.J. Fernandez in Estelí, Nicaragua, the 6.25 x 48 Toro features a dark, oily Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and a core of aged Nicaraguan long-fillers from Estelí and Jalapa. The blend delivers a full-bodied experience that is robust yet balanced, showcasing the depth and sweetness of perfectly aged tobaccos.
The flavor opens with bold notes of espresso, dark cocoa, and earth, followed by accents of molasses, leather, and black pepper. As the cigar progresses, hints of toasted oak, dried fruit, and creamy spice appear, leading to a long, smooth finish with lingering sweetness and rich, smoky depth.
