The Black Works Studio The Hornet is a bold and complex boutique cigar that perfectly captures the edgy creativity and meticulous craftsmanship of James Brown’s Black Works Studio. Known for its dark flavor profile, artistic presentation, and intense character, The Hornet delivers a full-bodied experience with signature small-batch precision.
This 5 x 48 Robusto features a striking barber-pole design combining Ecuadorian Maduro and Candela wrappers, over a Honduran binder and aged Nicaraguan long-fillers. Full-bodied and richly layered, it opens with strong notes of espresso, cocoa, and earth, evolving into flavors of pepper, oak, and molasses, while the candela accent adds subtle hints of grass and sweetness. The result is a beautifully balanced yet intense cigar with a slow, even burn and dense, aromatic smoke.
