The Alec Bradley Gatekeeper Robusto is a collaboration between brand founder Alan Rubin’s sons, Alec and Bradley Rubin, and master blender Ernesto Perez-Carrillo. Launched as part of their boutique-inspired projects, Gatekeeper quickly earned critical acclaim for its balance, flavor, and craftsmanship.
This 5 x 50 robusto is handmade in the Dominican Republic at Tabacalera La Alianza, featuring an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder, and a filler blend of Dominican and Nicaraguan tobaccos. Medium-bodied, it delivers refined notes of cedar, earth, and roasted nuts, complemented by leather, black pepper, and a touch of natural sweetness. The robusto size highlights the blend’s complexity while maintaining excellent balance.
