Room101 Johnny Tobacconaut Maduro Robusto

The Room101 Johnny Tobacconaut Maduro Robusto takes Matt Booth's cosmic cigar creation into darker, richer territory. Introduced in 2026, this bold new expression features a Nicaraguan Maduro wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos, creating a flavorful Nicaraguan puro handcrafted by AJ Fernandez.

Measuring 5 x 50, the Johnny Tobacconaut Maduro Robusto delivers a medium-to-full-bodied smoking experience featuring rich notes of earth, espresso, dark cocoa and spice. Its combination of Nicaraguan intensity, Maduro sweetness and Room101's unmistakable personality makes it an exciting addition to any premium cigar selection.

Flavor Profile

The Johnny Tobacconaut Maduro Robusto delivers a rich, layered profile centered on dark chocolate, espresso, earth and black pepper. The Nicaraguan Maduro wrapper contributes natural sweetness and depth, while the Nicaraguan binder and filler provide structure, spice and a satisfying finish.

Additional impressions of roasted coffee, leather, cocoa and warm baking spices complement the blend's darker characteristics, creating a flavorful experience for smokers who appreciate well-balanced Maduro cigars.

100% Nicaraguan Blend

Unlike the Ecuadorian Connecticut-wrapped Johnny Tobacconaut, the Maduro edition is a 100% Nicaraguan puro. Its dark Maduro wrapper, binder and filler are all sourced from Nicaragua.

The blend is produced by AJ Fernandez, whose expertise with Nicaraguan tobacco brings depth and character to this new interpretation of the Johnny Tobacconaut collection.

2026 Maduro Release

Unveiled at the 2026 Premium Cigar Association Trade Show, Johnny Tobacconaut Maduro represents the next evolution of Matt Booth's intergalactic cigar concept. The release expands the collection with a darker, fuller-flavored alternative to the existing Connecticut expression.

The Maduro collection is offered in three sizes: Robusto (5 x 50), Toro (6 x 52) and Gordo (6 x 60), each presented in 20-count boxes.

Ratings & Reviews

The Room101 Johnny Tobacconaut Maduro has attracted attention from cigar publications since its 2026 launch. However, no verified numerical rating from Cigar Aficionado, Cigar Coop or Cigar Snob was confirmed for the exact Maduro Robusto.

The original Connecticut-wrapped Johnny Tobacconaut is a different blend, and its ratings should not be attributed to this Maduro release.
