This 6 ½ × 52 Toro Grande is wrapped in a Honduran Olancho San Agustín leaf over a Mexican San Andrés binder, with a filler composed entirely of African-grown tobaccos from Zimbabwe, South Africa and Cameroon — a first for CAO’s premium line. Medium-bodied and richly textured, it opens with hints of hazelnut, cocoa and raisin, evolves into earth and wood, and finishes with subtle spice and pepper. Performance reviews highlight excellent draw and burn—but emphasize the experience is more novel than traditional.
