The Rocky Patel A.L.R. Second Edition Robusto (Aged, Limited, Rare) is one of Rocky Patel’s most prestigious releases, created to highlight the artistry of small-batch production and long-term aging. After being rolled, these cigars are set aside for two years of extra aging to allow the tobaccos to marry and develop unmatched complexity.
This 5 ½ x 50 box-pressed robusto is handcrafted at Rocky Patel’s TaviCusa factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. It features a dark, oily Mexican San Andrés Maduro wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and a filler blend of aged Nicaraguan tobaccos. Medium-to-full in body, the cigar offers rich flavors of dark chocolate, espresso, oak, and black pepper, balanced by subtle sweetness and a creamy, lingering finish. The additional aging process refines the blend, creating smoothness and depth that few cigars can match.
